Woman arrested on meth-related charges after traffic stop in Cass County

A 26-year-old woman was arrested after a traffic stop in Cass County led to a search and the discovery of drugs.

The stop happened on Thursday, July 30, near the intersection of Commercial Street and New York Street in Pokagon Township.

Detectives detained the female driver and interviewed the female passenger who was searched. During that search, detectives say they found methamphetamine and meth paraphernalia.

The 26-year-old woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

The 32-year-old female driver was released and issued a misdemeanor citation for driving with a suspended license.
