Funeral arrangements set for SBFD firefighter killed in crash

Funeral arrangements are set for the veteran South Bend firefighter killed in a crash in Mishawaka.

Jeremy Bush, 41, died on Tuesday after the crash at 10th and Union Streets. His 15-year-old son was seriously injured. Bush’s viewing is set for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Saint Pius X in Granger. His funeral will take place at 2 p.m. that day.

Due to COVID-19, the funeral will be viewable online for those who cannot attend.

Seating at the church will be limited with mask and social distancing guidelines followed.

Bush’s 15-year-old son, who was a passenger on his father’s motorcycle, remains hospitalized.
