Some local schools have changed their rules for marching bands as part of their reaction to the pandemic.
It’s usually more than just football players who take the field on Friday nights. But WSBT reports that Riley High School has informed parents that they won’t be allowing the marching bank on the field. They’ve also split the band into two groups, and will only allow 25 band members at each game, sitting 6 feet apart in the stands.
Mishawaka High School says they’re planning to have all 100 marching band members on the field, but they’ll sit on spaced-apart folding chairs in the end zone.
