The 2021 NBA All-Star Game will not happen on its scheduled weekend in Indianapolis next year.

Indy was set to host the event on Presidents’ Day weekend next year but it looks like that won’t happen, according to WISH-TV.

Two sources, including Phil Ray, general manager of the JW Marriott, said the NBA canceled its hotel contracts for that weekend.

This year’s NBA Playoffs have begun after a four-month delay due to the pandemic. Next season will have a delayed start.

It’s still not clear if the NBA will try to schedule the All-Star Game for later in the year, or if it will be canceled completely.
