A woman died in an off-road vehicle crash in Starke County.

According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Misty Staton, 39, was killed when a 28-year-old man operating the ORV failed to negotiate a turn on State Road 10 and crashed at a high speed. Both were ejected. Staton died at the scene.

The Indiana DNR believes alcohol was involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
