Police K9 sniffs out drugs, $350K in cash in vehicle on Indiana Toll Road

Around $350,000 in cash was seized during a traffic stop on the Indiana Toll Road.

An officer working the Domestic Highway Enforcement patrol saw a minivan conduct an illegal lane change, then saw it following a semi too closely so they conducted a traffic stop near the 44-mile marker.

The driver’s responses to the officer didn’t make sense to the officer, so the officer asked for consent to search the vehicle, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

A K-9 officer was brought in, and reportedly sniffed out drugs in the cargo area of the minivan and a large amount of cash was located throughout the vehicle.
