Law enforcement officials in Elkhart County are reporting their results from the 2020 Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement event that took place between mid-August and Labor Day Weekend.
During that time there was an increase in state and national messages about the dangers of impaired driving, and an increase in the number of officers on the nation’s roadways looking for drunk drivers.
In Elkhart County there were 3 people pulled over for OWI, as well as 2 criminal misdemeanors. A total of 35 tickets and warnings were issued in the county.
