A mural meant to encourage people to vote will soon be complete in Benton Harbor.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan, along with more than 100 non-partisan partner organizations, recently launched a public art campaign designed to increase voter turnout.

ABC 57 News reports the campaign is part of MichiganVoting.org, and will include eight murals across the state. Benton Harbor’s mural is the first to be completed, and is set to wrap up this weekend.

Each mural is designed to increase voter turnout for all elections, not just the current one.
