Local Girl Scout troops in need in volunteers

The Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michigan is in need of volunteers.

St. Joseph County residents interested in becoming a girl scout troop leader are encouraged to fill out an application form online.

If approved, applicants will be notified of a list of local volunteer opportunities.

Troop leaders impact the lives of girls by teaching them about positive values, healthy relationships and how to develop a strong sense of self.
