Benton Harbor man, 44, arrested during cociane bust

A 44-year-old Benton Harbor man was arrested during a drug bust.

The Southwest Enforcement Team – West Team, along with the Berrien County Tactical Response Unit, executed a search warrant in the 500 block of McAllister Avenue in the city of Benton Harbor on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Located at this venue was approximately an ounce of crack-cocaine packed in more than 100 individual baggies, three pounds of marijuana, an unregistered pistol and other evidence indicative of narcotics trafficking, according to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.

The Benton Harbor man was arrested as a result of the investigation. He was lodged at the Berrien County jail on various charges.

Point of order: Unless you have an NFA restricted firearm all weapons are unregistered.

Dealing drugs is the crime.
