The South Bend Police Department Transparency Hub has been upgraded to include suggestions from residents.

Mayor James Mueller says the enhancements were made to help build greater trust with the community.

The updated Transparency Hub adds a new incident map, which allows residents to view recent crime data and filter by incident type, date, time of day, and more.

The hub has also been expanded into multiple pages that focus on Community Compliments and Complaints, Group Violence Intervention, and officer recruitment data.

It is also now compatible for viewing on smartphones.

The Transparency Hub can be reached by visiting https://southbendin.gov/police-transparency.
