The federal government will cut Michigan’s allocation of the Pfizer vaccine.

State officials report they were informed that next week’s COVID-19 vaccine shipment will be reduced from 84,250 doses to 60,000 doses, which is a reduction of 29%.

WSBT reports the allocations have always been subject to change, and officials in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Florida have also reported their allocations will be reduced.

U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar said Pfizer has reported production issues, though the company has not issued any comments.
