South Bend Police were called to the Meijer store on Portage Road to investigate a bank robbery.

The reported heist happened around 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the branch located inside the store, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There was no immediate word of any suspects or arrests.
