Gunshots dired at Tippecanoe County Democratic Party HQ

Gunshots were fired at the Tippecanoe County Democratic Party headquarters in Lafayette Wednesday night, says TCDP Secretary Michelle Wietbrock.

In a social media post, Wietbrock says the headquarters were unoccupied when the shooting happened, and no one was injured.

The building will remain closed while repairs are made. It’s unclear if there’s any connection to the nationwide protests from supporters of President Trump.

Anyone with any info is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department.
