The Berrien County Health Department and Spectrum Health Lakeland began offering limited COVID-19 vaccine appointments to those in the next phase of eligibility.

Because vaccines are currently very limited, those who are considered high-risk for severe COVID-19 illness are being prioritized. To reach the populations in the next phase, including those over the age of 65, the county’s health department will be working from cross-referenced waiting lists of those who have expressed interest in getting the vaccine.

At this time, clinics offering the vaccine are by appointment only and are not open to the general public.

The best way to indicate interest in receiving a vaccine is to complete the pre-registration wait list on the Berrien County Health Department’s website, or complete the survey available via Lakeland MyChart.
