Area counties improve to Yellow COVID status

(IN Dept. of Health)

Some good news on the local COVID front: St. Joseph, Kosciusko and Noble Counties has been downgraded to the yellow advisory level.

The counties are seeing a decrease in their positive test rates for consecutive weeks.

This also means some of capacity restrictions have been loosened, but organizers of events with more than 25 people still need to submit a safety plan to their local health department.

No counties in Indiana are currently at the lowest level, which is blue. Wednesday afternoon Dr. Kristina Box with the Indiana Department of Health said 29 counties moved to yellow this week.
