St. Joseph County Police warning of scammers driving “asphalt” truck

St. Joseph County Police are warning of scammers in the area.

Police say three Hispanic men are driving a white truck that says “asphalt.”

They’re posing as tree service workers contracted with the electric company.

Their goal is to get you outside your home so that while you’re distracted, they can enter your home and steal items.

Police say if you have not called a contractor to your home, do not let them in and call police.
