Weather delays for some Berrien County vaccine recipients after last week’s national storm

Berrien County’s Health Department has received notice from the Department of Health and Human Services that last week’s winter storms have delayed COVID-19 vaccine shipments to local health departments.

Due to those delays everyone who had an appointment for a COVID vaccine on Tuesday, February 23, in Berrien County at the clinic on East Napier Avenue has had their doses moved to March 1.

County Health Officer Nicki Britten says no one with an appointment should worry about their second doses, because they are secure — just delayed.
