Two teenagers were killed in a crash in Steuben County Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff’s deputies say a 16 year-old was driving too fast on C.R. 675 and lost control of the vehicle after cresting a hill.

The car struck a tree head-on, was split in two, and ejected both teens.

The 16 year-old died at the scene, the 14 year-old passenger was airlifted to a Ft. Wayne hospital, where he later died.
