Students at Fairplain Elementary in Benton Harbor received a visit from their Lt. Governor on Monday.

Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist arrived with the MDOT plow “Tiger,” which was named by the students as part of the state’s “Name MI Snowplow” program.

WSJM reports that students in Roxanne Gilbert’s fifth grade class chose the name, which is also the Benton Harbor school mascot.
