Man, 32, killed in wrong way crash in LaPorte County

A LaPorte man was killed in a wrong-way crash on U.S. 35.

The collision happened on Friday afternoon, March 12.

Investigators say Nathan Blount, 32, died after the vehicle he was driving was struck by another vehicle that was going to wrong direction. Blount’s vehicle landed in a ditch and struck a tree. He died at the hospital afterward.

The driver who police say was going the wrong way suffered an upper body injury.
