The Community Foundation of St. Joseph County will host a free, in-person FAFSA completion event at Ivy Tech in South Bend.

It’s set for 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 29.

The goal is to grow the number of low-income students who can get good-paying jobs after college.

As it stands, the number of Indiana high school seniors who have completed filing FAFSA this year is down ten percent compared to last year.

The event will offer on-on-one, in-person help from InvestEd and Ivy Tech representatives.

The deadline to file your FAFSA is April 15th.
