A woman and her 9-year-old son were injured in a single vehicle crash in Cass County.

The collision happened around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 11, on M-51 near Crystal Springs Street in Pokagon Township.

The 31-year-old woman was traveling southbound when the vehicle crashed into an embankment. The woman was thrown from the vehicle, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The two were taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment.
