It was a gruesome night for former Marian High School graduate, Devin Cannady, in the NBA.

In a game against the Indiana Pacers, the Orlando Magic guard injured his leg after landing from a blocked shot attempt.

Cannady immediately went to the floor and had to be stretchered off the court.

The team released a statement saying, “Devin Cannady suffered an open fracture of his right ankle.”

Surgery for the former knight was scheduled for Sunday night in Indianapolis.
