Four Winds Casino South Bend hopes to expand to table games soon

The Four Winds Casino in South Bend is nearly ready to start offering table games. Governor Holcomb was in town earlier this week to make it official.

WSBT reports that the request was first submitted to the governor’s office in August of 2019 by The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. Table games are a Class 3 gaming activity, and at the moment the casino is a Class 2 facility.

The new agreement needs approval from the U.S. Department of the Interior, which could take 45 days.
