A man has been arrested for murdering three people in Peru, Indiana.

On May 21, 2021, officers from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office were sent to a home at 2834 South 300 West, Lot 137, in Peru, Indiana, for a welfare check. There, police found the bodies of Jessica Sizemore, 26, Jessiah Hall, 37, and four-year-old Rae’Lynn Sizemore.

Mitchell Page, 25, of Brookston, has since been arrested for their deaths. He is now in the Miami County Jail, facing three counts of murder.

All three of the victims lived at the home. Police believe they were shot to death on Sunday, May 16th, 2021.

An uninjured two-year-old boy was also found at the home. He was taken to the hospital, then released into the care of the Indiana Department of Child Services.

During the investigation, police developed probable cause to arrest Page. He was taken into custody at a family member’s home in Lafayette. Sizemore and Page have a child together.

“There’s no excuse for murdering three people — even more so when you murder a four-year-old child,” said State Police Sergeant Tony Slocum. “All I can think is, that’s an act of cowardice.”

Police are still trying to figure out what happened. If you know anything, contact Indiana State Police at 765-473-6666, or the Miami County Sheriff’s Office at 765-472-1322.
