Former Concord HS teacher faces arrest warrant, criminal charges

A former Concord High School teacher now faces criminal charges.

An arrest warrant was issued Monday for Andrew Cowells. He’s faces roughly a dozen charges including child solicitation, vicarious sexual gratification, and possession of child pornography.

Cowells allegedly made inappropriate comments in the classroom and acted inappropriately in the boy’s restroom at the school. He was fired by the school district after student complaints.
