Former Concord High School Andrew Cowells booked into Elkhart County Jail

Former Concord High School teacher Andrew Cowells surrendered to police, on Tuesday, June 29, one day after an arrest warrant was issued.

Cowells is charged with vicarious sexual gratification, two counts of child solicitation, ten counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of voyeurism, two counts of battery and one count of harassment.

The charges stem from incidents that allegedly happened in a classroom and a boy’s restroom on May 5. The child pornography charges are connected to images of underage boys that investigators say they found on his phone.
