Woman arrested in connection with a bomb threat at a South Bend church

(ABC57)

A woman has been charged with involvement in a recent bomb threat, and with impersonating an officer. The South Bend Police responded to a report of a suspicious package at a church in the 5300 block of West Sample this past Sunday.

ABC 57 reports that Lisa O’Donnell was caught going through the kitchen cabinets at the church. O’Donnell claimed there was something dangerous hidden there, and claimed she was with the Justice Department.

She allegedly left and returned with a small box that claimed to contain an explosive device, and the church was vacated. Police said the box was empty.
