Suspect in Kendallville triple shooting arrested in Ohio

The man suspected of shooting three people at a Kendallville gas station is in police custody.

Matthew Rodriguez, 24, was arrested this morning at a rest stop in Athens, Ohio, say Kendallville Police.

Investigators believe Rodriguez killed one person and hurt two others in a shooting Sunday at a Gallops gas station. He faces one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. He is also charged with receiving stolen goods.

Rodriguez, who is in an Ohio jail, will be extradited back to Indiana.
