Police in Benton Township are looking into the shooting death of a 27 year-old early Sunday morning at a party.

WSJM reports that 27 year-old Demarco Scales of Benton Harbor was shot a large party shortly after 3 a.m. in the Benton Homes Apartments on Council Drive. Police had been called to the party and were already on their way when they received word of shots being fired.

Police say they did not receive any cooperation from witnesses, and no suspect has been identified.
