Three people were hurt in a crash in Cass County.
The collision happened around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, at M-51 and M-152 in Silver Creek Township when a 39-year-old Dowagiac woman pulled out in front of a Ford pickup truck, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
The 51-year-old Gobles man driving the pickup was not able to stop and the force of the crash sent both vehicles off the roadway.
The Dowagiac woman and her 15-year-old son were taken to the Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo for their injuries. A 71-year-old passenger in the pickup truck was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial in Dowagiac for care.
Everybody involved was wearing their seatbelts. Alcohol is not believed to be factor in the crash.
