Osceola woman killed, 3 others hurt in crash in Cass County

An Osceola woman was killed and three others injured in three-vehicle crash in Cass County, Michigan.

The collision happened late Monday afternoon, Aug. 9, at the intersection of M-51 and M-152.

Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say a 46-year-old Dowagiac man driving a GMC Sierra was turning west onto M-152 when he allegedly turned in front of a southbound Ford Fusion.

The Fusion struck the truck.

The force of the collision then caused the Sierra to hit a Ford F-150. 21-year-old Elizabeth Schoen died.

The other three people hurt were taken to the hospital for treatment. Sheriff’s deputies say everybody was wearing seatbelts, expect for Schoen.
