Rape charges were filed Thursday against a Benton Harbor alum who plays basketball at Butler University.

The 7-page court document says University Police responded to a report of a sexual assault at a campus dormitory room on February 4th around 2 a.m.

They found a victim who was very upset and suffering from bleeding that was consistent with a sexual assault. She told officers that she had been raped by a man who lived in the dorm, who she identified as Carlos Johnson. Officers spoke with him in his room and he allegedly said that he should have told her to leave.

Johnson is no longer listed on the Butler Basketball website.
