A fatal crash on Warren Woods Road in Chickaming Township kills a 58-year-old man and injures a 58-year-old woman on Saturday evening.

Investigators say the vehicle was driving east on Warren Woods Road, just after 7:40 p.m., when it was struck by a vehicle driving west on the same road.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The 58-year-old woman’s condition is listed as stable.

Her passenger, the 58-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of the westbound vehicle did not suffer any injuries.

At this time, authorities believe drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash. Though it remains under investigation.

The names of the victims are currently being withheld at this time.
