South Bend trash service on one-day delay due to Labor Day holiday

The City of South Bend’s trash and yard waste pickup service will be delayed by one day later than normal during the holiday week of September 6 through September 10. City offices will be closed Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day.

The holiday week trash and yard waste schedule will be:

  • Monday, September 6:  Labor Day observed, no trash or yard waste pickup
  • Tuesday, September 7: Trash or yard waste pickup in areas normally serviced on Monday
  • Wednesday, September 8: Trash or yard waste pickup in areas normally serviced on Tuesday
  • Thursday, September 9: Trash or yard waste pickup in areas normally serviced on Wednesday
  • Friday, September 10: Trash or yard waste pickup in areas normally serviced on Thursday
