No injuries after car goes off road, hits home in Cass County

There were no injuries when a vehicle crashed into a home in Cass County.

The collision happened around 3:30 a.m. on Friday, Sep. 3, in the 3100 block of Curran Beach Road in Silver Creek Township.

The investigation shows that 19-year-old man from Evergreen Park, Illinois, was traveling northbound on Curran Beach road, when he failed to negotiate the curve.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck the home. The driver and his passenger were not hurt, nor were the people inside the home.

Speed was a factor in the crash, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
