A woman was found shot to death inside a home in Elkhart.
Officers were called around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sep. 5, to the home in the 500 block of West Blaine Avenue for a welfare check.
Inside the residence, officers discovered the body of Cristina Pina, 49, of Elkhart.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation.
