South Bend Police arrested a man who, they say, led them on a pursuit.

The chase took place on Walnut Street, last Friday, after officers spotted a vehicle run a red light at a high rate of speed.

An officer tried to perform a traffic stop but the driver continued on.

The pursuit ended after the driver drove into a yard in the 2000 block of South Walnut Street.

ABC 57 News reports the driver, Adam Correa, was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement.

Additionally, Correa faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for being a habitual traffic violator.
