Another step forward for the mystery warehouse proposed for the Elkhart East Industrial Park.

The Elkhart County Board of Commissioners have approved an agreement and resolution for a tax phase-in for “Project Winnie.”

The giant warehouse would be built north of the toll road between County Roads 17 and 19. It would employ more than 1000 people.

Rumors are swirling that the development is actually for an Amazon distribution center but Amazon has not confirmed that.
