Two Nappanee men injured after crashing into grain hauler on County Road 50

Two men suffered head injuries after the pick-up trick they were in struck a tractor hauling a grain hauler.

The collision happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1.

The tractor was traveling east, slowly, on County Road 50 east of County Road 13.

The truck, driven by an 85-year-old Nappanee man and his 83-year-old passenger, was also traveling east and struck the back of the grain trailer being pulled by the tractor.

The two men in the pick-up truck were taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
