St. Mary’s College adjusting residence hall guidelines

St. Mary’s College says they are making changes to their on-campus residence hall guidelines.

The Observer reports that students living on-campus will be allowed to host students from the tri-campus family, including Notre Dame and Holy Cross, in their residential halls. The change was announced in an email from the Student Affairs office on Monday.

The decision to open the halls to visitors comes after a low number of positive COVID cases, high vaccination rates, and continued strong compliance among the three campuses.

Visiting hours and guest policies will remain in effect, along with masking guidelines. Off-campus are still not permitted due too high positivity COVID rates in St. Joseph County.
