The Hoosier State has passed another grim milestone on its pandemic journey, passing 15,000 deaths while officials continue to advise caution despite the improvements. The week ending Sunday shows just over 18,000 new cases, which was a drop of more than 15% and the fewest since late August.

The Health Department recommends that pregnant Hoosiers should get vaccinated.

In Michigan, 167 new outbreaks pushed numbers up almost 13% from the prior week. The region including Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph Counties in Michigan reported 60 clusters including 8 new outbreaks.
