A van crashed into a bio-waste pond at Goshen’s Wastewater Treatment Plant on Thursday.

Emergency responders dressed in hazmat gear rescued the work van driver after his vehicle ended up half-sumberged in the pit. The logos on the van are for a paint supply company in Taylor, Michigan. The driver was assessed at Goshen Hospital.

The Goshen Public Works Director told the Goshen News he wasn’t sure what the driver was doing on the property, within the fence around the grounds. No deliveries were expected from the driver.
