One person injured in Michigan City house fire

One person was flown out for care by helicopter, after a house fire in Michigan City.

Crews arrived on Thursday, Nov. 18, to find smoke coming from the two-story building.

Firefighters were able to get inside and discovered the fire on the first level.

One person outside the home was flown out for care.

There were no working smoke detectors.
