A trapper in Kosciusko County caught a bobcat.

The DNR says the young man had been running his first trap line, this year, setting footholds to catch coyotes. While checking his line on Monday, Dec. 13, before school, he was surprised finding the bobcat.

With the help of a DNR Officer, the trapper and his father safely released the bobcat, which then ran off into the woods.
