Noble County highway worker killed in crash involving tractor and dump truck

A Noble County highway worker has died after a crash involving a tractor and a dump truck.

A tractor used for mowing got stuck in a ditch in Kimmell on Tuesday morning.

As workers were using a dump truck to tow the tractor out of the ditch, the tractor accidentally lunged forward and pinned the man against the dump truck.

53-year-old Jerry Jones, of Albion died at the scene.

Police are still looking into all the factors.
