2nd District U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski released the following statement on the Consumer Price Index, which rose to seven percent in December – the largest increase since 1982:

“From steep price increases at the grocery store to the gas station, Hoosiers don’t need a report to tell them that inflation is shattering records – they experience it every day.

Inflation, now at its worst in 40 years, is wiping out the wage increases that Americans saw in the past four years.

Thanks to President Biden, Hoosiers are paying more to feed their families, heat their homes, and buy everyday necessities. Combined with persistent supply chain bottlenecks and workforce shortages, skyrocketing inflation is a recipe for disaster.

We can’t afford the Biden Administration’s reckless and out-of-touch agenda.”

40% of our dollars in circulation have been created out of thin air in the last 2 years. I dislike Brandon as much as the next literate living Citizen voter, but we can’t lay all of this at his feet.
