One person hospitalized after officer-involved shooting in Mishawaka

A man was shot by police at Village Green Mobile Home Park in Mishawaka.

Officers were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, on the report of a disturbance.

No officers were injured in the incident.

The person shot was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There was no immediate information released about the circumstances that led to the shooting.

The South Bend Police Department has been asked to oversee the investigation.
