Braun, Walorski call for American energy increase to aid with Russian oil shortfalls

Two of Indiana’s political voices are speaking up in support of American-made energy to replace the shortfalls created by Russian oil bans.

Senator Mike Braun and Congresswoman Jackie Walorski don’t want to see the US relying on Venezuela, Iran, or Saudi Arabia. Braun said he is glad the President shut down energy imports, but noted that gas prices were going up before the invasion began. He blamed that rise on Biden’s strangling of American energy.

2nd Dist. Rep. Jackie Walorski agreed that the jump in prices began before Russia’s military rolled across the Ukrainian border, and said unleashing American energy will cut costs and make our nation stronger.
